Step 1: Ordering a Color Swatch Kit

Start by ordering our SkinTones Color Swatch Kit, crafted from the same high-grade silicone used in our covers. The kit includes detailed instructions for choosing the closest match to your natural skin tone.

Accurate Color Matching: Computer screens can vary widely in color and brightness, so they may not accurately represent the colors we offer.
Personalized Selection: Using the swatch ensures the most realistic and natural match to your skin tone.

Step 2: Using the Color Swatch Kit

Prepare for Color Matching: Place the swatch in front of the white plate to see its true color.
Select any Area: Choose a skin area that best represents your overall tone. Hold the swatch against this area.
Compare Under Different Conditions: Test the swatch in various lighting (indoors, near a window, outside) and on both the front and back of your body. Observe tones while sitting and standing.
Repeat: Repeat until you find the color that feels most natural.

Step 3: Placing your order

Side Selection: Left or Right
Foot Shell Size: Provide your current prosthetic foot shell size.
Color Customization: Select your preferred color from the Swatch Kit.
Toe Design: Choose between split-toe or non-split-toe options, based on the specific design of your prosthetic foot.
Permanent Nail Polish (Optional): Add a touch of style by selecting a nail polish color.
Foot Bed/Heel Reinforcement (Recommended): Enhance durability and extend the product’s lifespan.

Realistic Details (Optional): Add freckles, veins, or blemishes for a lifelike appearance.

Fabrication Time

Once your order is placed, we will begin crafting your silicone cover. Each cover is meticulously handmade to order to ensure the highest quality and a perfect fit. The entire process, including fabrication and shipping, typically takes 3 to 6 weeks.

Installation

Installation Guide: Instructions for your prosthetist will be included. It is important that your prosthetist is familiar with foam work to ensure proper installation.
